Hutchinson has not agreed to any interview which would enable nonpartisan inquiry into her allegations, which include her cleaning ketchup off of walls on January 6th, 2021.
Hearsay is testimony that is unverified and typically consists of “she said, he said” statements. In a congressional committee hearing, hearsay is permissible. However, the purpose of such hearsay is investigative, to attempt to chase a lead to direct evidence. In this case, Hutchinson’s testimony which was refuted by her boss immediately after her appearance has no investigative value.
